"Virgin of the Illumination Country " Fethiye, is in a bay open through north, surrounded by pine forests within Fethiye gulf, in which large and small islands distributed within Mediterranean. History:
Antic Era Name of the today's Fethiye, which was a coastal city at Lycia - Caria territory, is Telmessos. It can be said that the city, whose clear foundation information is not known by us, i present since Vth century B. C. according to the known oldest documents. Telmessos have existed as an independent city, separated from Lycia for a long time.
